So, I am a HUGE AWCer. (Army wife chat group) and this post came up about making your own household cleaning products. I was intrigued, read AND FELL IN LOVE!
I officially am a home-made laundry maker and user. I will no longer purchase store bought detergent, cuz its a gimmick. They are stealing your freakin money people! And the the little bubbles that I had learned to love SO much, yeah, its a fact that they add foaming agents into the detergent just so you THINK IT CLEANS BETTER! HA HA HA The joke is on you all you bubble lovers!
My home made laundry detergent, it doesn't suds at all. But wow does it clean AND I did an experiment to prove it. I smeared mustard on three different shirts. One was laundered in Homemade Powdered detergent, Homemade Liquid detergent and the third in Gain liguid detergent.
AND THE POWDER WON BY A LONG SHOT! I will post the pics of my experiment shortly, just so you my audience of.......none so far :) can enjoy them yourself!
